In the section on Profile Cards we covered this briefly. All Heroes have 1 passive ability which is always active and doesn’t require any payment in order to activate it, however it will require that certain criteria are met. This can often simply be the proximity of one hero to another, or performing a particular action. Whatever it is, be very careful to remember what passive abilities all of your team members have!! You don’t want to miss out on some crucial bonuses or buffs because you forgot about them, and your opponent may not be kind enough to remind you!

Passive abilities can stack with other passive abilities from other heroes, so you should always consider how abilities can be combined to create super effective parties. You may find a hero to be fairly ineffective on their own, but when combined with other heroes the passive buffs can create something special!
