1. Rulebook Complete – Community Paint Gallery Submissions
The Crystal Collapse rulebook is now complete and ready for print—with one small exception: we’re adding a special community hobby gallery, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
If you’ve painted any Crystal Collapse miniatures from our original release, or created terrain builds for your games, we’d love to feature them in the printed rulebook (with full credit to you as the painter).
Send us a message with your best images and let us showcase your work in the official book!
2. Pixel Artist Update & App Development Pause
Some bittersweet news: Nam, our incredible pixel artist, has recently accepted a full-time position at a game studio. While we’re sad to see him go, we’re also thrilled for this new chapter in his career and grateful for the amazing work he contributed.
As a result, development of the companion app is temporarily paused while we search for a suitable replacement. We’re actively seeking a new artist and will resume work on the app as soon as we’ve found the right fit.
3. New Terrain Pieces & STL Format Overhaul
While reviewing our recommended terrain setup, we realised we’d missed something. The basic Crystal Collapse layout calls for two 2×2 pieces of blocking terrain—and we hadn’t included them!
To fix that, we’ve added a pair of rocky outcrops laced with crystals to accompany the Crystal Mines terrain set. These will be automatically added to all STL terrain orders—no need to purchase separately.

Even better, all terrain STLs have now been reworked into two versions:
- One optimised for FDM printing
- One optimised for Resin printing
Both have been thoroughly tested and are working great!
4. Forgemaster Miniatures – Our Official Terrain Partner
A huge thank you to Sam from Forgemaster Games, one of our amazing backers, who recently reached out after reading a Patreon post about the ups and downs of running a small business.
Sam offered his support, and we’re proud to now officially partner with Forgemaster Miniatures as our terrain supplier for Crystal Collapse!
Forgemaster is offering pre-printed terrain in both FDM and Resin:
- FDM prints are available pre-coloured, meaning you can use them right out of the box—no painting needed!
- Premium resin prints are also available for those who want maximum detail.
These are currently available for pre-order, with shipping scheduled for January.
👉 Check out the full range here:
Here’s a montage of some of the pieces that Sam has printed to give you an idea of the quality of the FDM terrain

5. Production Samples in Progress
We’ve started sending production samples to our manufacturing partner to help catch any last-minute issues before we move into full-scale production.
This is taking a little longer than originally expected, but we’re committed to getting it right. With the rulebook nearly final and content almost complete, this step will help ensure a smooth path forward.
6. GPSR Compliance Complete – Cassandra is Back
We’re thrilled to announce that our GPSR compliance paperwork is now complete, meaning we’re once again able to ship to customers in the EU.
To celebrate, we’ve brought Cassandra, our Halloween limited-edition miniature, back to the store for a short run.

There are less than 50 copies remaining, and once she’s gone, she’s gone for good.

7. Sneak Peek: “Escape from Oldenburg”
Lastly, a quick teaser—we’re starting early development on our next mini-campaign:
Escape from Oldenburg, featuring Kurado and Tamara and the first of our Judges, as well as a new terrain pack!
Don’t worry—the main game remains our top priority, and we’re not pulling resources away from it. But we’ve always said Crystal Collapse would be supported long-term with new stories, heroes, scenarios, and monsters—and this is the first step toward that vision.
For those of you using the Acrylic Standee versions, rest assured that we will be making all new releases available in all formats, so no one is left behind.
Thanks as always for your continued support, enthusiasm, and patience. We’re getting closer every day—and we’ll keep sharing every step of the journey with you.
