Survey results, Questbook layout & translation, and Late Pledge extension — share your thoughts and help shape the future of Crystal Collapse!
Hello and welcome to a new update for Crystal Collapse! Today we’ll cover the following topics:
Survey Results
The survey was an extraordinary experience for us — thank you so much for your incredible participation! More than half of our backers took part, which we honestly didn’t expect.

With 72%, the result was clear: most of you preferred a fully colored background for the card backs. We couldn’t be happier with this outcome!

Questbook Layout & Translation
In the past two weeks, a lot has happened. We’ve completely revised the Questbook layout, and the translation will be finished later this week.
This means we can proudly say: All text-based printed components of the game are now complete!

final parts of the game: tokens, packaging, dice, and other components. We hope these will be just as exciting as the rest of the content.
A New Project from Max – Wyrmhunt
Max is always working on new games as a designer. In addition to his work at Lion Tower, he’s part of the German studio Woodpecker Games. After Nanolith, his second game Wyrmhunt is on its way: a cooperative card game that brings classic Final-Fantasy-style turn-based battles to a cooperative tabletop experience.

With great excitement, I’d like to introduce our new project: Wyrmhunt.
Games like Expedition 33, Sea of Stars, and Metaphor: ReFantazio show that turn-based combat still captivates millions of players, just like classics such as Final Fantasy, Lufia, and The Legend of Dragoon.
Wyrmhunt is a cooperative analog card adventure with turn-based battles, where players build a camp, level up heroes, equip powerful gear, explore strange worlds, and unleash Limit Breaks — all brought to life through stunning pixel art.

In the future, there will also be a crossover between Wyrmhunt and Crystal Collapse. We’ll share more details in due time.
Survey: What’s stopping you from backing & Late Pledge extension
Over the past two weeks, we’ve received a lot of messages from people who are unsure about backing but can’t explain exactly why.
That’s why we’ve decided to extend the Late Pledge slightly. At the same time, we want to ask you again:
What’s holding you back from backing?
Based on your comments and the survey, we’ll answer these open questions to hopefully turn you into backers. You know we’re a two-person team — reaching more people is crucial for us, even if we don’t have the reach of big studios. Our strategy is to listen directly to you.
So, take this chance and share in the comments what’s stopping you from backing!
Even if you’re unsure, your feedback will be very helpful for future projects.
Thank you for your time and support!
