FIRST THOUGHTS ON LILY – SHE’S A GAMECHANGER! 🔥
First Impressions
First thing to note – Lily looks absolutely stunning on the tabletop! But she’s not just a pretty face. Stat-wise, she’s solid, with great attack power, solid range, and a well-rounded magic-user profile, making her a fantastic choice for any team.
Her Skills – More Than Meets the Eye!
At first glance, Silence might seem like your classic JRPG anti-magic ability. WRONG. It’s way more powerful than that! Let’s break it down:
Profile Analysis
- Life Points: 3
- Movement: 4
- Attack Dice: 2
- Armour: 0/0
- Attack Value: 6>4 (super versatile long-range attacker!)
Silence – The Ultimate Fate Disruptor
Silence places a silence token on an enemy hero, lasting until the end of their next activation. While silenced, they CANNOT use Fate cards – at all!
🔥 Why is this amazing?🔥
- High ground advantage? Doesn’t matter.
- Pincer attack setup? Not today!
- God cards that grant Fate? Wasted!
- That one guy always pulling off lucky Fate draws (we’re looking at you Nagold)? Not anymore!
This ability is a serious game-changer, and one worth saving your Jokers for. If you don’t have a sacrificial Heart card, you might even want to burn a God card just to get this off!
“It’s Hard to Hit When You’re Seeing Double” – Lily’s Passive Skill
As a mage from the school of Illusion, Lily bends reality itself! Any time Lily or an Ally within A2 of her is attacked, the attacker must reroll one successful attack roll.
💀 She may have low armour and only 3 Life Points, but with this ability, she’s REALLY HARD TO KILL! (Yes, we’re using capital letters because it’s THAT important.)
Best Team Pairings for Maximum Chaos
Pair her with Lisara and not only are enemies re-rolling a successful hit, but you’re getting a fate card added to your armour rolls, and with her standing armour value of 3, Lisara is now virtually invincible too!
Keep Roland in her area of effect and not only does he get Lily’s “re-roll successful hits” boon, he also has the chance to remove 2 attack dice from the attacker (when using a protection token) which means if the enemy actually manages to scrape through with an attack at all, its chances of hurting him are minimal!
